Is it possible for me to be pregnant if I'm a month late on my period but last time I had sex was sept 18 and I spotted in oct on the tenth and it wasn't a normal period.I've been feeling sick and everything I eat I don't finish,my back hurts and I got the urge of throwing up.I'm sleepy a lot also.. Yes, the spotting , and other signs are all things that would indicate you are pregnant.

If you do not have one when it is time for it, test then, or go see your doctor now.

So how long should I wait for another test? And even if I'm on birthcontrol should I stop taking it?

Reviewing the dates, I think I would go on into the doctor, or try one more HPT using the first urine of the morning,a and if it is negative then go back to the doctor.

It would be unusual for you not to get a positive result by this time if you were indeed pregnant.

If you have one already, take it in the morning... following the directions carefully. What sort of birth control are you using? How long have you been using it? Some women do experience irregular cycles when using hormonal type contraception.

If the test is still negative, and given your other possible symptoms, it would be a good idea to see your doctor, as Fr_Chuck stated.
