    I'm confused
I'm 14 and I am dating a 22 year old and all I had to do was talk my parents into it there for I'm 6 months pregnant having a baby boy. Living with my boyfriend in our own apartment he is working almost 40 hours every week doing shut downs so he makes around 1200 every week there for we do not qualify for medicaid or food stamps.im going to school still and I am 2 years ahead of my graduating class with 2 scholarships to the university of Florida! But you got to watch out because the ages in Florida are 16-24

He is guilty of statutory rape and could go to jail. It's as simple as that.

    I'm confused
I am 14. I will be 15 on July 4th 2012. I am dating a 17 year old who will be 18 in February 2012. What do I have to do so he won't get into trouble. I live in the state of Florida and I am not sure what the law is either.

    1) Don't have sex with him.
    2) Don't get intimate with him
    3) Make sure your parents are OK with you dating him.

But frankly a 14 yr old shouldn't be with an almost 18 yr old. He's probably a HS senior and may be going to college next year. I really don't see much in common between you.

Agreed, as long as he does not touch you sexually ( even with clothes on. As long as your parents know you are dating and are OK. Then he has no problem.

In a case like this its possible the parents would go to jail too. New laws are happening all the time to force parental responsibility. Allowing this is neglect of the highest order.

I also JUST read this concerning parental neglect - do your parents know? His parents?

I merged your earlier post in another thread into this one.

Yes you do seem to be confused. In one post your boyfriend is 22, in another he's 17! In either case, since you are under 16, he is guilty of statutory rape. And if you are 6 months pregnant, I'm surprised that your doctor has not reported him to the police.

And your parents may be in trouble for not reporting it. I suspect, if they are, in fact allowing you to live with this pedophile, its because they don't want the responsibility of caring for your child.

And a final point, if you are as smart as you claim, how did you wind up pregnant at 14 with a pedophile?
