I have a question about plumbing! I have a laundry room and right next to it is a closet with a toilet, in working order. Strange yes I know but and older house I just bought. I was wondering if it will work to bring the wall out to put a small vanity in and basically turn the toilet 1/4 of a turn. Is this possible or not?

Yes! This can be done very easily.
You can cut a tee into the toilet vent and run a horizontal drain line off from that to the vanities position. You may have to reposition the closet flange but I see no problems in your remodel. Thanks, just knowing that I am coming up with things that can actually work is a good start. OK another one 4 you, what about switching bath tub, vanity and toilet? Are these things that are major or can they be done just as easy? I also have this pipe in the bathroom that goes up the wall by the toilet, 2 or3 inches wide what is it? And how can I hide it cause it is ugly?

Adding a vanity was simple but you're talking major surgery here.
Since you have a older house you will be either working with cast iron or converting to PVC. We can walk you through adding a vanity, however you're talking about tearing out a bathroom group and completely rebuilding it. Unless you have the necessary tools and plumbing shills to do the work I'd farm this job out to a pro.

This would be a vent. You do have options:
1. You can fur out the wall, **OR**
2. You can box the pipe in and run short shelves off the box for knic-nacs or bath supplies to make it look better.

You guys are awesome, I am vary independent and like projects but when it come down to this and electrical, and supporting walls I am defiantly going to call a pro cause I want it to last more than a week. And not have the house fall in. thanks again
