    Removing a Spud Nut
The person who decided to save money by inventing NYLON PLASTIC nuts and bolts needs a NYLON PLASTIC prod up his ***... I heard it works very well for that purpose.

Hi nysprof and welcome to the Plumbing pageat at AskMeHelpDesk.com. You piggybacked on an a 2 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. In the future, before you post look in the upper left hand corner for the date.
Spud nuts securing the flush valve,(see image) aren't so hard to remove once you have the right tool. Purchase a spud wrench,(see image) from your plumbing supply house and it becomes a simple operation. Good luck. Tom
