    Can someone please explain the structure and function of the various parts of plants, especially in angiosperms with particular reference to the xylem end phloem

    Xylem and phloem is where the minerals in soil are introduced by water entering them. The string stuff when u break a celery in half or bite on it is a good example. Go to this http://www.csdl.tamu.edu/FLORA/301Ma...gio/angio.html
