    I am currently having technical difficulties with a blackberry Yortel cell phone
    Received after the Joplin, MO tornado. It says I have 56.4 minutes on it, but it won't let me access it. It says my account cannot be validated

    Sounds more like an issue with the SIM card rather than the phone.
    Can you swap it with a card you know to be good ?
