Your tax number is generally your Social Security number if you are in the US. Either way you should contact your taxing authority, we have no way of knowing it.

Is this a business tax ID number ?

If the tax number is the SSN, call the Social Security Administration.

If it is an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN), call the IRS.
