I have a Vizio M370NV TV. I am trying to connect an older VCR/DVD combo player (Magnavox MWD2206) and DISH HD Satellite receiver. The VCR/DVD player has two coaxil cords on it and TV only has one co-axil that says "Ant/Cable IN". It also has a USB and an HDMI input/output on it, but the VCR/DVD player doesn't have that. Thirdly, the TV has multiple colored in/output connections on the back. My 4 yr old TV had multiple co-axil in/outputs that it connected to via the two on the VCR/DVD player. I'm lost with this new TV. Can someone help me? Thank you!

If you VCR has a yellow and white (and sometimes red) connection that is labeled as an output, then you will want to run those to the inputs on the TV.

For the satellite, that should have an HDMI output which you will run straight to the HDMI input on your TV.

If you want to record, then you will need to run the yellow, white, red connections out from the Dish, into the VCR's input.

If your VCR does not have the yellow, white, red connections then you will use the coax instead. To do this, you will run the coax out from the VCR's output, into the TV's coaxial input. And if your dish box has a coax output, then you will want to run that out from the Dish into the VCR's input.

It always follows, outputs-to-inputs. Never connecting inputs-to-inputs or outputs-to-outputs.

If you still have difficulties, you will want to hire someone to connect your equipment for you and show you how to use it.

I looked on the back of everything and the TV just has one set of Inputs for cords except a group that looks different called "COMPONENT - Better" and has green, blue and red inputs; then L} AUDIO {R inputs next to that. I have the Wii three cords plugged into the normal Inputs but there aren't any other sets of normal inputs to use. Do I need to unplug and re-plug into the Inputs every time I want to switch from the Wii to the DVD player?

- HDMI from satellite to TV.
- Component video (red, green, blue) and stereo audio (red, white) from the DVD side of your combo player to a component audio/video switcher.
- Component video and stereo audio from the Wii to the audio/video switcher.
- Component video and stereo audio from the switcher to the TV.
- Composite audio/video (yellow, white, red) from the VCR side of your combo player to the TV.

To get the best picture from your equipment in the order of Satellite->DVD->Wii->VCR:

Note: This method does not require the purchasing of any additional equipment, but does not bring the most out of your Wii or VHS.

- HDMI from satellite to TV.
- Component video (red, green, blue) and stereo audio (red, white) from the DVD side of your combo player to TV.
- Composite audio/video (yellow, white, red) from the Wii to the TV.
- RF/Coaxial from the VHS side of your combo unit to your TV.

To get the best picture from your equipment in the order of Satellite->Wii->DVD/VCR:

This is also the easiest method since you use the same connection for both the DVD and VHS sides of the combo unit. However this sacrifices the picture quality of your DVDs for better picture with your Wii.

- Composite audio/video (yellow, white, red) from DVD/VCR to TV.
