    Ford power stroke uses oil
Why does my ford f350 power stroke use so much oil every week? I see no leaks.

Blue smoke? Blue smoke forms when the engine’s lubricating oil is being burned, indicating worn piston rings, valve guides, or seals.

Try full synthetic heavy duty diesel engine oil. Synthetics have lower NOACK Volitility ratings, thus much less evaporation. Besides, your engine will last much longer, you will get better gas mileage, your engine will start easier in winter, and your turbo will last longer and perform better.
