My wife has got approximately 3 months of Pregnancy. 2 weeks back, bleeding was started, Ultrasound has been conducted many times, child growth is OK, but fluctuating bleeding is a source of constant worry for us. Please advise us and what may be the possible reasons for this bleeding?

When she had ultrasounds, was anything mentioned regarding the location of the placenta? Sometimes, if it is low in the uterus, bleeding can be a result.

Some women may have some spotting or light bleeding due to the hormonal changes associated with pregnancy. They may even think that they are still having their periods.

It can also happen that there may be some spotting after recent intercourse due to the increased blood flow to the cervix.

What has her doctor or midwife said about it?
