    Sandisk iPod
What is the best/cheapest website for downloading
Songs for a sandisk iPod. We were using bearshare
But now they are starting to charge. Is there a
Site that just charges a monthly fee and not charge
    Per song downloaded?

I've heard good things about MP3 music download website, eMusic

I can't access it from work though, so you'll have to have a look :)

Bearshare is not legal, they ae trying to become more legal by charging.

First iPod is a trademark of Apple Computer. SanDisk does not make iPods but it does make MP3 players. The SanDisk MP3 players will usually take both MP3 and WMA format.

Napster charges a monthly fee and I think the downloads are unlimited. Rhapsody works similarly. You can also buy cards are various outlets to buy individual music.

Downloading copyrighted material without permission is illegal. So most places that offer free downloads like bearsgare did are usually not legal. EVen if they charge a fee, unless thye have a licensing agreement with the artists, it would still be illegal.
