I believe that one for a Chevy Astro would work, and that it should be the same part for 1996 through 2009 model years...

Astro vans would be the same, I don't know about model years though. There are several websites that offer used parts, though they possible will suffer the same problems. Junkyarddog.com is good one that hits a lot of different sites.
