Money is tight. I found a used 2005 model #665.17022402 on Craigslist and was wondering if this is a reliable model. Please give me as much as you can (ie. What it sold for new, was it made by another company,etc). Thanks

Kenmore(Sears) doesn't make anything. Many of their appliances are Whirlpool, or at least used to be. Problem is, regardless or what it cost or past problems, you don't know how it was treated. It may have been a light duty DW or used 2X a day. You almost need water to check a DW out. Personally, I would never pay more than $50 for a DW that has used up at least 1/2 or more of it's life expectancy. Dishwasher 7-12 yrs
