    He has a girlfriend.
So there is this guy, and him and me have gone out before, but I broke up with him because of a bad misunderstanding. So we each took our separate ways and we both found new "loves". He dated, and I did too, but no matter what, I just could never forget him no matter how hard I tried. So I started pushing him away, trying to avoid him as much as possible.

I dated a new guy, his best friend, and for months I thought I finally got over him. But after months I realized I was lying to myself, because of this many complications occurred between me, and the new guy, so we broke up.

But now that I finally told the first guy that I still like him, its already too late, because he has a girlfriend. So I don't know what to do.

You really can't do anything. He has a new girlfriend and that's it. You told him how you feel - so, if he breaks up with his new girlfriend in the future - who knows, he may or may not want to try things again. Also - why in the world did you date his best friend? That's messed up! I wouldn't blame him for not wanting you back for that reason alone!

How old are you both? I would hope you leave him alone, and move on, and stop this drama that's more about you dealing and coping with your own feelings than anything else. You have already probably hurt his best friend, so now I think you bite the bullet and deal with your own behavior.

You can't just rearrange things for yourself. Like hurting his best friend, AND the new girl. Is all of this fair to them? What have they done to deserve being caught up in YOUR feelings??

I really believe that if it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. Even though you still have feelings for him, there's always that possibility that you could have gotten back together and totally regretted it. I mean, you already broke up once! But on the other hand, if you let him know that you still care for him, he may be suppressing the same feelings somewhere about you. I think it comes down to the question do you want to confess your feelings to him and take that risk of rejection, or just move on.
