    Ask a honda mechanic?
My 1996 Honda Accord LX was parked on a street that took on a great deal of water during a rainstorm. The water level was above the tires. I entered through the passenger side, which was wet through to the carpet. The driver side was dry, and I prayed that the car would start. It did, and we drove away through the water with no apparent damage , other than a wet passenger-side floor. We parked in a dry garage, and put towels where the carpets were. A while later, the towels were drenched, and there was water on the garage floor. My question is: Is there any danger to driving the car, now? Is there anything that badly needs to be checked?

The key items to protect are the ECM, distributor, and alternator. Many Honda ECMs are located on the inside passenger side of the vehicle. I would open the hood and doors and allow everything to completely dry out.

Since you drove it this far, you are likely fine and "dodged a bullet." Flooding frequently shorts out the ECM, distributor, alternator, and many sensors--repairs can be extensive and costly.
