    Need to know size of electrical wire
    What size wire do I need to run 220v for 75 feet? Will be running a generator into my circuit pannel.

    Whoa! This post has red flags going up all over!

    220v is meaning less without with information. In fact, 220 is wrong. It is 240v and has been for a very long time.

    Your generator MUST put out 120/240v as well, NOT just 240v.

    Also, you need to know the amperage as Cliff said. Your genny will have this info on it.

    Also, also, you MUST, with 100% certainty, use some form of interlock or transfer device. DO NOT under ANY circumstance just wire the generator into your panel.
