I am a medical graduate from India and plan on participating in the 2013 residency match. I have been offered a position as an assistant editor for an online medical textbook (private organization) by a well reputed university in Boston and are ready to sponsor an J1 scholar visa for me. Such a skill is no where mentioned on the 2009 skills list. I do not want to jeopardize my chances of getting an H1b for residency in future, hence would like to know if the 2 yr home residency requirement applies to me?
