I have a piece of machinery that needs a step down transformer. The primary electric is 208v. I need to convert to 28v. I have found a transformer that is 210v-240v. Will this work and if so because of the 208v. Will it lower the electric output on the 28v?

Do you need 28 volts AC or DC?

You need a transformer or a power supply that will convert the 208 volts to 28.

With a 208 volt system you do have 120 volts available also.
