I have had pain on my left waistline for over two years. I have done all the X-rays and scan but all the tests are negative. The pain is common at night when am sleeping and disappears when I wake-up. I have been recommended to do a barium enema of which I have found out that it has many side effects. I am scared because I have done over 60 scans and X-rays. Due to this exposure am worried or the rays in my body. Please any one with a solution to this problem can help. What are the side effects of barium enema has any one ever done one please help.
