    Bearing and distance
If r and s are on the same horizontal ground as the foot p of a tower pq.if the tower is 18km due north of s and 24km east of r if the bearing of q from s is 035 degree find the height pq of the tower and distance of r and s

Make a sketch and use your trigonometric ratios to get the answer.

Using the angle of depression (not sure why you call it bearing, or the question gives it as bearing... ) and the distance of p to s gives you the height of pq.

Using Pythagoras' Theorem, you get the distance rs.
