1994 civic ex engine turn over and no start
I been looking around for answers with the same situation and all it seems not working for me. The car give me a code 15 and change the distributor but still giving me the same code now changed for an external coil the wires are solder to keep it tight inside. I had change it about 3 times already and nothing. Don't have spark also changed the timing belt had cleaned the sensors just in case. Took the compression and is about 140, the wires are 10.2 the sparks are with iridium, the fuel system is working when put the switch in position 2 can hear the click and the fuel pump, test the fuel at the rail and fine, the fuses look OK but can't find the ignition fuse. The only thing I think a haven't change is the ECU and is commin soon. What it can be? Because the car its been stop for a little while and I needed. All the help in this manner is welcome

If the Check Engine Light comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then the problem is with the distributor. For a Code 15, you should replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM). Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM. If the problem persists, install the new ICM into a new genuine Honda distributor housing. Over 50% of new aftermarket distributors at AMHD don't work--the remaining ones are unreliable and problematic.

True hear that but the ICM is a Hitachi and for I know mitsuba and hitachi are the best ICM in the market or Im wrong? What they do in autozone is taking the originals and refurbish them so in base have an oem distributor with some new internals. A d15 distributor can work on a d16?the neighbor has one and can ask him
