    Toothache after routine check-up
I am in considerable pain. All of my mouth ache's, my ear is buzzing and my face is numb. I went to the dentist for a regular check-up. She said everything was fine and cleaned them for me. Some slight pain at the time over sensitve part but no problems. I have now been in pain for the last three days. I can remember this happening the last time I saw her 6 months ago. Is this normal to effectively pay someone to give you toothache? I have booked my two children in to see her and I am worried about them. My husband has been in to see her several times to fit a filling, which has repeateadly fallen out.
I think I have answered my own question - get another dentist. As I am not happy. But is it normal to get toothache like this?

You are right, get another dentist. Apparently the cleaning is way too aggressive if it causes this much discomfort. A filling falling out once shame on me, failing out repeatedly shame on the dentist.
