I have been dating my boyfriend a little over a year now and overall, things are going well. However there are some things that have been bothering me for a while and I want to know if I'm being unreasonable before I sit down and talk to him:

* We split everything 50/50 which is fine most of the time but I expect him to pay for outings at least once in a blue moon. As far as salary goes, I make a little more than he does. However, more than half of my pay goes toward rent and utilities each month. He still lives with his parents which means he as more money left over on every paycheck than I do. This is on top of the fact that I have to stock up on Budweiser (I don't drink) and more food each week when he stays over my apartment yet I never ask for him to pay me back.

* He always lack energy to do anything on days off and despises traveling. Granted, I have longer work hours than he does...

* He never gives me any compliments when I dress up or does something for him thus I'm starting to stop trying

Should I bring these points up or am I being unreasonable?

Ask him to tell you honestly what you do/don't do that drives him nuts. Listen to what he says. Take notes even. Then report back to us what he says.

So get rid of him then
