    Should I be concerned I'm a suspect?
SOoo a couple weeks ago my exs house got burnt down. Supposedly it was arisen. But Im not sure I don't talk to her. She said I was a suspect because I'm her ex. And that all of her exs or people who don't like her are suspects. I was just wondering because this happened will this be on some permanent record? Like when I apply for a job and they do a background check will this pop up? I am kind of worried this could have an effect somewhere down the road but I'm not sure. I was just wondering if it could. Or is it nothing to worry about. I haven't got a phone call from a detective or anything at all. She just said I was a possible suspect... I don't know any thoughts? Should I be concerned.

I think you mean arson nor arisen. And yes, you may be a suspect. I'm sure she told the police you were capable of it.

But nothing will go on your record unless the police accumulate enough evidence to arrest you.
