I had fraud and shoplifting charges dismissed. I have applied for part-time work through an Agency and they want me to get a security check which includes a Criminal Records check. What will they find? Also, will I have any problems travelling outside of Canada.

They might find your arrest record. There's all sorts of backgrounds checks. Some good - some not so good. It shouldn't stop you from international travel.

Again agree with excon there are all types of background checks, private companies, government records and more.

But it will not show any convictions since you were not convicted
