My husband is dying. He signed a survivorship deed for me so I will keep the house once he dies. During this time he has stopped receiving dialysis so he will pass within the next 14 days. I'm staying with my daughter during this time so I'm not alone. Will that affect me getting the house? I'm very sick too and I'm in the process of setting up care for myself but also don't want to be without my family during his death. If I'm not occupying the house during this painful time... will it affect me getting the house?
