Try a hrd reset then try to synch if this fails go to an apple store The googlefoo gave mixed results for this problem.

First plug in the iPad to the computer.

Try and click "Restore" if it asks you to update, then do that.

After the restore your iPad should pop back up and ask to sync. Let it do that and you should be back to normal.




Second. If the above doesn't work.

1) plug in your iPad to the mac.
2) hold the home and power button down and continue to hold.
3) when the SCREEN TURNS OFF (keep holding, you shouldn't have let go of anything yet) count out loud 2 seconds and then release ONLY THE POWER BUtton (the top button) but continue to hold the home button for 15 or 20 more seconds.

A message should pop up on your mac or PC saying its detected a device in recovery mode (which you can now let go of the buttons)

Then click restore and follow the steps above. It should restore your iPad back to working condition.
