I can't get the handle off.

Most moen handles come off by prying the little cap off in the center of the handle... I use a razor blade to pop the cap out (be careful here)... see image below (if you click on the image it may enlarge the image a bit).

Other moen handles come off using an allen wrench through the bottom/side of the handle... see other image.

Is this what you were asking or is it that you can't loosen the screw/allen screw? Let me know, OK?
