Just a few questions. I have a new house with a rough in bath for a shower and toilet, etc. There is a 12"x12" crumbled square where I believe the drain should be for the shower. Is that correct and what will I need to connect that to the shower drain?

Question #2. For the toilet the large PVC is sticking up out of the ground, is there anything I will need to attach the toilet to that PVC pipe?

Question #3. What should I finish before sheetrocking the basement and finishing the floors?

This is not a rough in for a shower. You have a tub dap-out, (the square).Were you planing a custom built tile shower or a manufactured one?

Yes, you will need to cut the toilet raiser back and install a PVC closet flange.

You will have to Install a lavatory stub-out 18" from the floor to the center of a 2 X 2 X 1 1/2" sanitary tee and run a vent off the top of that tee out the roof or revent back to a existing vent in the attic.

Good luck in finding a shower base drain that fits over a tub dap-out. As a rule you would have to buy the base and place it where you want it, mark the drain and move the trap and raiser over to that mark. The trap raiser wants to come up a few inches over the floor line to connect up the shower drain. Good luck, Tom
