After turning hot water on in shower it just trickles for 30-60 secs, then full flow of hot water and pressure. The cold water works fine with pressure and flow as soon as u turn it on. The sink in the same room has no problem with this. Any ideas?

It sounds like you may have a washer that is getting stuck on the seat of the valve. Here, you may need to disassemble the hot side of the valve and inspect the washer... may need to be replaced. If that fails to resolve the issue you may need to work your way back towards the first hot water shutoff in line from the valve... inspect that shutoff washer, right?
