I have been experiencing very heavy bleeding for months now coming from my anus, and it's getting worse. I first saw the doctor and she told me to get an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I had both done. Of course, they found nothing but esophogitis and internal hemorrhoids, non-bleeding. They say they did not find anything else wrong, and yet here I am excusing myself to the restroom every hour to clean off my blood soaked backside. Therefore I feel there is something wrong even though the doctors are telling me there isn't anything wrong in there.

I know you all cannot give me a diagnosis, I'm not asking for that.

So here's my question...

What tests should I ask my doctor about? What steps should I take now? Are there any conditions that are unable to be detected by a colonoscopy that causes heavy bleeding that I could discuss with my PCP?
