My mother's father who lived in Louisiana passed away and left her land in Louisiana. My mother passed away in 2003, and now the land has been left to me. Do I still have right to claim what is rightfully mine.

    Thank you,

It's unclear what you are saying here. Did your mom leave it to you by will? If so, it is inaccurate to say that now the land has been left to you. It was left to you in 2003.

Anyway, if the will has not yet been probated, it's probably not too late. Who is in possession of the land?

Who died first, mothers father or mother?

    Who left you the land?

How did they leave it to you ?

Since 2003 who has owned the land or been using it?

Please give more details for us to help you?
