I have my tubes cut and burned 15 years ago I am very regular with my period my last period was 9-13-2011 my pap was good a week before my period I took 2 home pt and a blood test all negative I am 40 and have all signs of pregnancy what is my next step

The last pregnancy test you took was a week before 9-13-11? Am I understanding the correctly? If so, I would try another pregnancy test. It could be you just skipped October and will have a period start before too long for November. Some of the early pregnancy symptoms can be very much like those experienced before a period.

It is also possible that you might be entering perimenopause, which can go on for years prior to actual menopause. Often periods start to become irregular.

If you also skip a period for November, it would be wise to go back and see your doctor.
