I have changed my operating system to Windows7 can I work the Slide scanner to this new operating system. If so how do I get the driver.

Plug it in and see what happens.

Win 7 has a vast amount of inbuilt drivers and may well have one available for your scanner.
If not it will go off and look at Windows update for it,.
