Airspan ceiling fan light fixture #77461?
It's now Nov. 2011, and the last question about Harbor Breeze 69" Airspan parts was asked and answered two years ago. I have the same product with all the parts, but one of the blades has broken. Apparently even the manufacturer (MSG) no longer has replacement blades -- they've been discontinued. Any suggestions? I only need one blade, and am afraid that using gorilla glue would eventually lead to a flying missile and an imbalanced fan.

Replace all the blades with universal blades sold at Home Depot or Lowe's

If your fan had more than 3 blades you need to replace all of them in a balanced set. Try Home Depot or Menards to start.

@jumpmaster1 -- A friend of mine, handy in woodworking, made a replacement blade of thin plywood. Keeping in mind the balancing concerns, he was very careful about size and weight. The color is (just) okay. I haven't tried it yet, as the fan was removed from my daughter's (rental) house when they moved (I'd bought the fan; they'd installed it!).

The replacement blades I looked at at Lowe's were meant for five-bladed fans. They are significantly longer and are mounted differently. I really don't think they'd work at all.

I'm tempted to offer to sell you my blades, but then I'd have to ask my friend to manufacture more of them -- I can only imagine his delight at that prospect! :/ Still, there is no need for us both to have useless fixtures.

I work @ Lowe's. It is our Ceiling Fan. I called the Manufactor which is actually Litex Industries. Harbor Breeze is just a name. And that particular fan has been discontinued. No parts are available as of a year ago. When it comes to fans, the fans are supposed to be pre balanced. Any modification can lead to motor burn outs or wobbling effect. @ Aerose, might be time for a new fan. Wouldn't risk a guided missile to the head which can result to serious injuries. Take care guys! Hopefully this response was helpful!

Hello all, I no longer have these blades. I sold them each for $50 a piece on eBay. (just kidding) but seriously, you're going to have to (1) give up and just buy yourself a new fan (2) start an Airspan Motorcycle Gang and glue parts of your fan on the backs of your leather jackets (3) Cut yourself some new ones.

My search went dry after several months.
