I am 45. Periods have always been normal lasting from three to four days. I am having a abnormal period (heavy) I am now on my ninth day. On my seventh day I started having bad lower pelvic pain like it would throb. Then at same time my left upper thigh doing the same all the way down to my knee cap also lower left back pain.. Bad enouh pain that I am not getting any sleep. Feels better with motrin but once it wears off back to hard pain again wondering if I need medical attention or if I am just having a bad cycle? Thanks
