    Hi Jackim

To start, lift the toilet tank lid and see if the water in your tank is sitting at the same height as the OVERFLOW TUBE. If the water is as high as the overflow tube then it is reasonable to assume that water is flowing over the overflow tube and the tank is constantly filling... could be the issue here.

The next check would be to perform a DYE TEST at the toilet(s). Here, drop about 10-15 drops of food coloring into the toilet tank(s) and let the toilet(s) sit undisturbed for an hour. After an hour, look in the toilet BOWL(S) and see if the water has become colored. If the toilet water is colored then the FLAPPER is allowing water to leak by and, at a minimum, will need to be replaced. At a maximum, the entire flush valve assembly will need to be replaced.

Start here... let me know what happens!

Do each of you have your own water meter?
