I am 6 weeks postpartum and am bleeding and it is bright red. It is not a lot, but it is consistent, about 1 pantyliner daily. IO mostly see it when I wipe and I have to wipe several times. I also have no urge to poop until I have to poop a ton and it is all soft and slow.

Have you continued to bleed since the birth or did it subside and now has started again? Usually you won't still have bleeding by 6 weeks, but you could be about to restart periods, or sometimes you might have some spotting or bleeding if you are trying to do too much too soon. If you are breastfeeding, it is also not uncommon to have some bleeding about this time. Do be sure to use contraception even if breastfeeding.

It is always a good idea to speak to your doctor or midwife as they may want to do a check just to rule out any concern.

Did you get on birth control right after you had your child when you were in the hospital? Or was this your first pregnancy? Those could be factors too. I also agree that you should speak to your doctor or midwife.
