Investigator refused to take down evidence of 250 foot skid marks that a driver left,rear ending me,as I was turning right into my driveway.guy was doing at least 75-80mph on a gravel road,came over the hill,my drive is 500 feet down from the hill,I'm 90 percent in my drive way and he clips the very rear clip of my passenger side bumper. The impact spins my car around almost 180 degrees,my car is now all the way in my driveway.the local police officer who does not like me ,writes me the ticket for impropper use of a lane. I'm in the right lane on the right side of the road,making a legal right turn? I ask them to take measurements of the guys skid marks,he refuses and tells me to but out,this is now an official police investigation. Do I have a legal leg to stand on?

So hire a private accident investigator and fight it.

If I follow the situation you were turning into your driveway and got clipped. Maybe it was felt you didn't move into the driveway fast enough.

But Chuck is right. If you feel the investigator didn't do a complete job, then hire your own.
