I see these ads all the time about data entry jobs, are those real or scams

Most of the listings you see online or the emails you get will send you to a website that wants you to pay for their "Work at Home" package. This is a bunch of baloney. As Curlyben said, there are legitimate jobs out there but they are few and far between.
