I want to make my hair light brown because my hair is like "burnt umber" which means it's REALLY dark brown.. I don't want to use anything in my hair but I want it to become lighter.. please help !

My hair changes with the seasons so this is a hard question to answer. Do you have a hair stylists? If so ask her what is the best way to do that if any, I don't think there is but, asking a hair professional does help.
