I'm fifteen, and pregnant. Obviously. I have NO idea how to tell my parents. They will kill me. They are so strict and I don't know how they'll take it. I'm with the father & we plan to be together forever. He has a job but my parents won't let me get one. I know I have to tell my parents but how? Please help..

I am going to assume that you have confirmed that you are pregnant with a positive pregnancy test? Having made sure that you followed the directions carefully.

You are wise to tell your parents as soon as possible. Certainly they will be disappointed, so expect that. Your mother will likely tell you how difficult it was for her, let her share her experience with you. Most likely, however, they will become your biggest source of support once the initial shock, worry, and disappointment wear off.

If you can't find the words to tell them in person, you could write it in a letter, making sure they read it when they have time to focus on it. For example, not right before having to leave for work. It can help to stay there as they read it.

Acknowledge that you know you made a mistake, and you understand fully the disappointment. It can help if you and your boyfriend have already discussed what you are going to do as far as supporting a child. How will you finish your education? Letting them know that you have thought about how this will change your life, you are sorry that it has happened, but that you still plan to finish school and do all that you can to be a good mother, can show them that you aren't taking it lightly.

Take care of this soon so that it is one less thing you have to worry about and you can start receiving the care you should. It will start with it being confirmed at the doctor's.

So you and the boyfriend go together and tell your parents, that is the adult thing to do. You have to start behaving as an adult, you will be a mother soon and fear and worry about someone getting mad has to be put behind you.

Yes they will be mad, they will be disappointed. They most likely will yell, they may say many things they don't really mean.

I agree with everyone else. I had my first child when I was young. I was scared to tell my parents so instead I asked them to make me a doctors appointment because I did not feel well. One of my parents took me to the doctors and I asked the doctor to tell my parent, this helped out a lot because I did not know how to say it because I was scared.
