I have been tested twice and both times my sperm count was very low. My motility was normal. Not sure what that is. Per the last test I had 1.5 million sperm and normal is 20-50 million sperm. Because of my low sperm count will I not be able to get my partner pregnant? Also can this be reversed? Lastly could the cause of this be due to a health problem I am not aware of?

It could be from chemical exposure, it could be purely diet. You were not given any info on how to increase your sperm account numbers?

Do you ejaculate often. If so cut that down too. Also when making love to your wife, how often and how many times in a day.

As far as I know I have not been in any contact with chemicals, but there is no way to be for sure. In regards to my diet, I eat a lot of meat, about three fruits a day, salad, vegetables maybe one to teo times a week at the most, pasta every so often, and grape nuts cereal every day.

I have not had a chance to discuss this with my doctor yet. Last time I talked to him is when he ordered my first test. I then got my results in the mail with a letter from him saying my sperm level was abnormally low and that he wanted me take another test before he sent me to a urinary specialist. I just got back the second test and it confirmed my low sperm level. I would make an appointment with him, but I am leaving the country in three days and will be gone for three weeks. Also, Each time I took these tests I did not ejaculate for three days which was per the doctors instructions. I am very concerned about this and have yet to tell my future wife. I will tell her soon once I get a second opinion and know more about if it is permanent or not.

I ejaculate normally once a day on average. My future wife and I have a long distance relationship and thus I only see her every 4 to 5 months for about two to three weeks at a time. When we are together we make love once a day.

One last note of information. On my test it said the amount of semen was normal, but the amount of sperm is abnormally low.
