What to do to reduce hips and thighs?
Hey I am Swathi. I am 5.2inch tall and I am 64kgs. I have huge hips and thighs I am working out 1hr a day. Can you please suggest me good workouts and diet plan so that I can cut down my weight to 55kgs and how long does that take?

To lose weight, you need to look to your diet. It is virtually impossible to exercise away significant amounts of weight. Diet is what reduces your weight, exercise is what makes you look good in a swimsuit.

The good news is that the fat on hips and thighs are generally not a health issue. It's the safely place to store extra fat. The bad news is that it's very hard to shift unless you are breastfeeding. It's nature's way of stock-piling calories so that you can carry and feed a baby, even in a famine.

There is reseearch to show that HIIT (high intensity interval training) helps to shift this fat better than low slow exercise. One study found that women who did spinning class where they went full blast for two minutes, followed by two minutes of slow recovery cycling, repeat five times three times a week, lost more fat off their hips and thighs than the women who did 40 minutes three times a week of steady cycling.
