If u got a period there is no need for a pregnancy test .Only when u miss your period then pregnancy test is needed .only in special circumstances like IVF and when u are desperately trying for babies u can measure earlier like 7 days after your sexual act.Not before that .

Very true... not to mention that if you were feeling movement, you would be quite a ways into your pregnancy already.
