My 26 month old son was not able to respond to his name when he was 22 month old. Now he turns 1 out of 3-4 times to his name. When asked his name, he points to himself.

a) He was tested for Hearing. In the behavorial test he failed badly. In the computer test, he cleared the test.


b) He was seen by speech therapist. She said he is progressing since he now says 100 words. She also looked at him and said he does look quite fine and she does not see any concerns for autism.

c) At home he mostly repeats words we say. He has his ways of communicating. He has his likes and dislikes. He loves colouring, clay , cars.

d) He can recognise alphabets and numbers 1-10. He can recognise some of the colours.

e) He does attend pre-school. At school only complaint that we have received is that he pushes a little bit.

f) He loves watching songs on Iphone. He loves Backyardigans, Diego.
