    Taking rights away
How many days of not seeing your child until your rights get taken away?

Your rights just don't get taken away that easily. It has to be done through a court and is usually only done to clear the way for adoption.

It doesn't work that way. Rights are not taken away automatically. Nor are they taken away just for not seeing your child.

You need to tell us more about your situation for us to help more.

Agreed, for example in Ga, a person not paying support or a person not visiting can not be used to take rights away. A long term prison sentence can.

In fact 90 days is a very small time frame.

Also some states allow a persons drivers license to be taken away, or even put in jail for not paying support, but not for visits.

But I know of no place that merely not visiting, and esp for just 90 days would allow rights to be taken away.

It may allow you go to court to get custody modified.
