Bryant Heat Pump System won't turn on
I have a Bryant heat pump (225b) system, and some squirrels or something chewed through the wiring to the outdoor unit, and nothing will turn on. I tried putting the thermostat in the fan position and removing the thermostat cover and shorting R to G (24vac to fan) but still got nothing.

I see the outdoor disconnect box and it is in the ON position. Is there another reset switch on the indoor unit, or anything else I can check? I'm getting nothing (no signs of life), and it's cooollllldddddd.

    Thanks

When the rodent chewed through the wires it probably shorted the 24 volt power and blew the transformer or control board low voltage fuse.
