We have a relatively new American Standard faucet assembly. I need to remove the drain plug to dclean out hair and the like. This assembly isn't like the old ones I've used in the past where it's like a lever assembly that lifts and lowers the drain plug. Those you could remove with a quarter turn and lift out. Instead of a level assembly, it's a cable that attached the open/close drain shaft on top of the sink to the drain plug in the drain. How do I remove this drain plug so I can clean out?
