Hi I'm about 8/9 weeks pregnant and went to the bathroom last nyt and when I wiped I found blood on the toilet paper , but then when I wiped again there was nothing there, I also checkd down below and there was no sign of any blood, I'm very worid and scared because its not normal to bleed when pregnant, please help. I've been up all night crying etc because I'm sure its something bad! p.s sorry about TMI

I am sorry to hear that you have been so worried. It can be perfectly normal to see some spotting or light bleeding in early pregnancy. It is usually not a concern unless it were a substantial amount of bleeding along with cramping. Even then, it does not necessarily mean something is wrong, but certainly would need to be checked out.

If it is an occasional small amount, it is likely not a concern, but it would be wise to let your doctor or midwife know even with that.

Arww thank you for someone anwering me :) I'm going to let my midwife no 2mra (monday) and opfully I can get in for a scan asap, do you no when you just ''know'' something isn't right? Well I have that feeling, I hve no pains or anythingm just th odd little niggel, bt I carnt stop thinkn about it, I think its something bad, :( I ope I wrong, anyway I've had no bleeding or anything, just that bit of blood frm when I went to the bathroom , n had nothing since, plus its also mkin me think its bad because I don't feel pregnant, and have nevr really had any symptoms, only sleeping and thas all gone now :'( xx

I know there is nothing I can say that will stop the worry for you. Some women don't have many symptoms in the beginning, while others have just about every possible one.

Fingers crossed you have some peace of mind once you speak to your midwife.

But the thing is I've been pregnant before and sadly lost :( and I had loads ov symptoms and with this one I just feel asif there is nothing in my belly , :( I would just rather no if evryhngs alryt or not so I cn try and deal with it :( I'm a worryier , the thing that's mekin me wrry th most is that like I say I don't feel pregnant, and I'm so scared,sorry to keep ging on, just have no one to tlk to xx

Why don't you ring your midwife today? She may be able to ease your mind.

Its Sunday, :( urgghhhh... lol have to ring 2ma when thy are open , I would ov rang last nyt at alf 12 at night if they whr open, do you think its something serious? Oz 80% of the time it is isn't it? :( x

You should have some way of getting ahold of her. From what you said, it sounds as though things are fine and it isn't something serious.

Nope, only th number that's on my green booklet, with th MW's nums on, and it says mon to fri :( n thanks , you've eased my mind a little , :D but I aways think the worst , :( ope I'm OK :( thnks for your help xx

Heyyy I've been for my scan today... EVRYTHING IS FINE :) thank god :) I'm nealry 10week , fought I was about 7 /8 haha I herd its little heart beat and I crnt stop smiling... thnks for the help :)
